Chef V is the founder and visionary of Sweet Fusion Experience. Born and raised in the Midwest, she acquired a knack for cooking at an early age using recipes passed down from her great grandmother through her mother, grandmother, and great aunts. She’s enjoyed cooking tasty meals and dabbling with new cuisine experiments since she was a little girl. Throughout the years she’s catered events and offered meal prep for friends as a hobby. Formerly an employee of 20 years for a major telecom company, Chef V decided to leave corporate America and follow her passion for cooking in January of 2019. She started Sweet Heat Atl, a soul food bbq food truck that quickly became known for perfectly smoked meats, savory homemade sides, and excellent customer service. Patrons come from near and far to experience the Sweet Heat Flava. With a desire to share her passion on a larger scale, in 2021Chef V transitioned to more full time catering and private chef services. She now provides experiences for corporate executives, government officials and large social affairs as well as intimate settings and family gatherings.
